A full moon rises over Rock Lake just after sunset at Korth Park, in the town of Lake Mills. The waters have been referred to as “Tyranena” which is supposedly an indigenous name meaning “sparkling waters”. Rock Lake is perhaps most famous for its underwater “pyramids” believed by some to be built by the Aztalan natives at a time when water levels were much lower.
